The breathing memory of the saga
A voice does not prove that a witness tells the truth. It only proves that someone agreed to speak.
The podcast is the medium of human presence. It lets you hear people situated in a place, a period and a limit of knowledge.
It does not summarise the novels and does not comment on the albums. It brings across fragments of voice that the other media cannot preserve in the same way.
A breath, a hesitation, an accent, a door closing or a silence held too long belong to the story. Every episode is therefore built as an oral archive, even when the recording is recent.
Canonical cycle
De Profundis, read aloud
The podcast released around De Profundis is the audio narration of the novella drawn from the album’s story.
The narration is carried by Céline. She is not the voice of Pierre Duval: she performs the text and delivers to the listener a story written in the first person.
The series is a produced narrative reading, not a fake found recording. The mediation stays identifiable while holding Duval’s point of view as closely as possible.
The path of the episodes
One episode per chapter of the novella. Each episode follows one precise fragment of the journey.

The final episodes close the cycle on a consequence rather than an explanation. They open the continuity towards Act II.
The forms of voice
Each episode takes one dominant form. Mixing remains possible when the nature of the archives justifies it.
Testimony
Speech addressed to a person or an institution. The listener may stay silent: their existence is felt in the answers.
Journal
A date and a closeness. The voice does not know what will happen after the recording, and may contradict a later archive.
Reading
A letter, a report, a notebook page. Delivery preserves the status of the document: an official letter is not read like a confession.
Deposition
Tied to an investigation or a procedure, with its interruptions, rephrasings and removed passages. The institution becomes a character.
Collective voice
A community, a choir, an assembly. It stays rare and conveys shared memory rather than a supernatural presence.
The places heard
The place is recorded as a presence. The sound of a wave is not enough to produce a harbour: the listener must sense how sound travels through the space.

Building an episode
- The entrance
A voice, a place or a document. The listener understands where they are before knowing the reach of what they hear.
- The crossing
Gaps between words, sounds and documents. A testimony may be followed by an archive that qualifies it.
- The exit
A trace, not an explanation. An intimate story does not end with a cosmological revelation.
What the podcast does not do
Transcripts
The voice never becomes omniscient. It knows part of the world, reads certain signs and ignores the rest.
An episode does not fabricate evidence to produce a twist, and summarises no other work. It carries information the albums and the novels could not.
Transcripts
Every episode ships with a verified transcript. Significant hesitations and silences are marked. Translations preserve the status of the voice and its degree of uncertainty.
