A story from the depths
Les Enfants de Dagon tell a dark fantasy saga in which each act unfolds between music and literature.
The story begins in Innsmouth with the album De Profundis, then continues in the novel Sous ces profondeurs. It then leads the protagonists to New Orleans and Boston, before a return to the source.

The albums move the story forward through voices, atmospheres and songs. The novels continue the narrative, give access to the characters’ thoughts and reveal what the music could only suggest.

Everything begins in Innsmouth.
The town lives facing a sea that seems to have erased part of its history. Facades decay, families keep quiet, and strangers quickly understand that they are not welcome.
De Profundis opens the story through music. Sous ces profondeurs continues its events through literature.

Through its songs, the album lets you hear the voices, the fears and the calls that run through Innsmouth. Each track reveals a fragment of the story and prepares the events of the novel Sous ces profondeurs.

AvailableSous ces profondeurs directly continues the story begun in De Profundis.
The novel deepens the events of Innsmouth, reveals the links between the characters and takes the reader beyond what the songs had allowed us to glimpse.
The next stage
Act II — New Orleans and Boston
Ave Tenebrae in production
The investigation leaves Innsmouth and leads the protagonists towards New Orleans.
In this city crossed by music, stories and the waters of the delta, the signs take on a new form. Ave Tenebrae tells this stage through the bayou, the French Quarter, Hostel LeBaron and the marshes.
The story then continues in Boston with Avec les ténèbres. Leads gathered in the South meet archives, learned circles, the Thule Lodge and the secrets kept beneath the city.
On stage, Les Enfants de Dagon combine music, narration, lighting and visual creation.
The show does not simply perform the songs: it extends the universe of the saga and invites the audience to cross the line between concert and story.
The podcast lets you hear people situated in a place, a period and a limit of knowledge.
Testimonies, journals, readings and depositions: fragments of voice that neither the albums nor the novels could preserve in the same way.
